Sydney Thunder fan day

Sydney Thunder fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with their sporting heroes at the Sydney Thunder Fan Day at Bruce Purser Reserve on Sunday 18 December between 10.30am-12.30pm.

Mayor of the Hills Shire, Councillor Yvonne Keane, said the day is a great opportunity for the community to come together and acknowledge our top cricket players.

“It’s a great day of family fun and community spirit, which really showcases just how amazing our local sports teams are,” Mayor Keane said.

“It also gives the local community a chance to thank sporting teams like the Sydney Thunder for the inspiration and entertainment they provide to people, both young and old.”

Sydney Thunder will be there on the day signing autographs, attending the Junior Member Clinic and taking part in a Q&A session.

The family oriented day will also include a Kids Zone, with plenty of activities for aspiring junior sports stars to enjoy, cricket net sessions and a visit from Thor and Storm, the Sydney Thunder mascots.

Plus, Sydney Thunder members have the chance to attend a Junior Members clinic between 9am and 10.30am. And, they can meet last year’s championship winning teams and get a photo with the championship trophies.
