Celebrate Australia Day at the Farm

Come along and celebrate everything that makes our wonderful country great at The Hills Shire’s all-day Australia Day party at Bella Vista Farm on Thursday, January 26.

Australia Day celebrations will feature the biggest line-up of entertainment and activities ever seen at the Farm, including show-stopping performances from your favourite Aussie artists, rides, children’s activities, delicious street food, roving performers, fireworks and much more.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Councillor Yvonne Keane, said The Hills offers one of the largest Australia Day celebrations in Northwest Sydney and is the perfect place to commemorate our nation’s day.

“It will be lovely to see everyone come together as a community to celebrate what it means to be Australian,” Mayor Keane said.

“The sense of community spirit at events such as this is always overwhelming and I absolutely love sharing this day, not only with my family and friends, but with the whole of The Hills Shire.”

Start the day with a classic sausage sizzle underneath the Bunya Pines, before dropping by the kids zone, where the little ones can enjoy face-painting, balloon twisting, pop-up library and live entertainment.

Check out the Australiana displays including sheep shearing, blacksmithing, whip cracking and working dog demonstrations from Tobruk Sheep Station before heading over to the community stage to enjoy performances from local talent.

Finally, head to the main stage and listen to toe-tapping performances by Ricki-Lee, Chris Sebastian and Alfie Arcuri before watching a spectacular fireworks display.
