The Hills Shire Library author talks are back for 2020!

The Hills Shire Library Service is kicking off their author talks for the year with internationally bestselling crime writer, Dervla McTiernan.

McTiernan’s twelve-year career as a lawyer allowed her to turn her passion for reading and writing into a profession, with the release of two books in her now critically acclaimed, gripping crime series, The Ruin and The Scholar.

Mayor of the Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne recommends avid readers and aspiring writers to make the most of the author talks this year.

“Our libraries are state-of-the-art facilities and have fantastic resources for everyone to use,” Mayor Byrne said. “The author talks are an especially unique and exciting opportunity for book lovers to get some real insight into the writing process,” Mayor Byrne added.

Join Dervla McTiernan in conversation with Nicola Moriarty on Wednesday 26 February 2020 at 6:30pm at Castle Hill Library, just before the release of her third book in the Cormac Reilly series, The Good Turn.
