Summer fun for kids @ Hawkesbury Library Service

Hawkesbury Library Service has a great range of activities these school holidays, so escape the heat and make this your best summer ever!

Want to get creative? Create pompom bunnies at the Crafternoon @ Richmond Library workshop on Thursday, 5 January, 2-4pm.
FREE – bookings essential. For 5 years+.

If you love watching movies, the Library will be screening Blinky Bill on Monday, 9 January, Ferngully on Monday, 16 January and Happy Feet 2 on Monday, 23 January. All movies will start at 2pm.
FREE – bookings essential.

If you like treasure hunts come along to Geocaching 101 on Tuesday, 10 December, 10am-12pm and learn all about this real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game.
FREE – bookings essential, BYO device. For 8 years+.

Love painting? Create your own t-shirt design then paint it onto the shirt at the T-shirt Painting Workshop on Thursday, 12 January, 2-4pm.
$10 – bookings essential. For 5 years+.

For those aspiring artists, we have something for you. Create an individual comic strip at the KAPOW workshop on Wednesday, 18 January 2-4pm. The design will be combined to create a mural in the Library.
FREE – bookings essential. For 11 years+.

The Library and Gallery will also hold a Pop Up Library and Gallery at Richmond Swimming Centre, 71 East Market Street, Richmond on Tuesday, 24 January 10am-noon, so come along for some giveaways and fun activities.
