School Holidays @ Hawkesbury Library Service

Hawkesbury Library Service has a great range of workshops and activities planned during the April school holidays.

For those aspiring artists, we have something for you. Learn how to draw your favourite Superheroes & Villains on Tuesday, 11 April, 2pm to 3.30pm. $7 – bookings essential. For 8 years+.

Looking for somewhere to store your Easter eggs? Decorate an egg-shaped container to put your treats inside at the Easter Egg Canister workshop on Thursday, 13 April, 2pm to 3pm. $5 – bookings essential. For 5 years+.

Learn how to use hand tools to create simple and complex machines with Meccano during the Meccano Machines workshop on Tuesday, 18 April, 2.30pm to 4.30pm. $7 – bookings essential. For 8 years+.

If you are feeling a little crafty, make a shiny Sun Catcher to brighten up any window on Thursday, 20 April, 2pm to 4pm. $5 – bookings essential. For 5 years+.

Drop into Hawkesbury Central Library any day during these school holidays and build your own Lego creations at the Lego Play Area. FREE – no need to book, all welcome.

As part of Youthfest, the Library and Gallery will also hold a Pop Up event at Richmond Park on Friday, 7 April, 3pm to-8pm so visit us for some giveaways and fun activities.

Bookings are essential for the school holiday workshops and can be done via Eventbrite www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or phone the Library on (02) 4560 4460 to confirm a spot.
