Positive Vibes Ball

Unmasking the stigma of mental health is always the focus of The Positive Vibes Foundation and that is just what The Windsor Road Private Clinic Masquerade Ball will be doing at Dural next month.

The keynote speaker is Dr Geoff Toogood, a cardiologist and mental health advocate who founded CrazySocks4Docs in 2017. Dr Toogood will be talking about his own life experience of dealing with mental illness and his work to raise community awareness.

One in five Australians aged 16-85 experience a mental illness in any year. The most common mental illnesses are depression, anxiety and substance abuse.

The Positive Vibes Foundation is committed to removing the stigma of mental illness in communities, through connections and conversations. This year’s ball is on October 12 at Bivianos Italian Restaurant 628, Old Northern Rd, Dural.

Tickets are $150 and include a night of canapés, three course dinner, live music and entertainment, raffles, auctions, dancing and an inspirational talk from Dr Toogood.

Booking close on October 4. Too book visit eventbrite.com.au and search for Windsor Road Private Clinic Masquerade Ball
