2019 Cross Country Challenge

It was a pleasure to open the first stage of the 2019 Cross Country Challenge hosted by the Rotary Club of Castle Hill together with Hills Shire Mayor Michelle Byrne. It was an incredibly successful day at Bella Vista Farm raising vital funds for HeadSpace. Congratulations to the winners Michael McGuinness (11.1km), Shannon Nolan (7.4km), and Idris Burkhardt (3.7km), and to everyone who competed on the day! Well Done!

NSW LEADING THE COUNTRY
The NSW Government has maintained the State’s Triple-A credit rating, a llowing us to continue delivering our record breaking $93 billion infrastructure program and spend more on health, education and transport. We can also continue helping lower the cost of living with initiatives such as the Housing Affordability Strategy, which has saved first homebuyers over $1 billion in Stamp Duty since July 2017. NSW also continues to have the lowest unemployment rate in the country. At just 4.4%, NSW is almost a full point under the national rate of 5.2% and is lower than our neighbour states of Victoria 4.8% and Queensland 6.4%
