Poppy Day to Remember

Remembrance Day on November 11th was restrained due to COVID restrictions and uncertainty.

Many services were cancelled or held online.

Castle Hill RSL sub-branch held a private event inside the auditorium with veterans, serving defence force personnel and the Hills High School ANZAC Ambassadors.

Over 120 people attended. Guest speaker was Flight Lieutenant Anthony Bertolucci. This year is the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Australian Airforce. 2019 Hills ANZAC Ambassador Elizabeth Rodd spoke on behalf of the 2021 Ambassadors.

The RSL was covered with knitted poppies made by sub-branch auxiliary members both inside and out.
