NETWORK ENJOYS PINK DAY
A Pink breakfast to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Was held by local businesswomen Helen Karakostantis and Nicky Oliver at the Hills Lodge on October 23.
The two bonded over a love for supporting women in business through networking events.
Karakostantis, 30, the founder of Networking Business Women, has been coordinating events for the group for over a year. She met Nicky through the group’s Facebook page
Nicky Oliver, 33, from White Magnolia Events, started her event planning business in April, right before COVID-19 hit, with the events industry one of the worst affected.
“It’s definitely been a challenging year to start a business,” says Oliver. “But being able to design and create this beautiful event for the women of the group, and raise money for breast cancer research, has been so rewarding for me”.
The 33 guests at the event raised $1584.91 for NBCF
