Native Orchids

A range of spectacular Australian orchids will be on display at the Spring Native Orchid Show at Kellyville this weekend, September 14 and 15.

The show is being organised by the Australasian Native Orchid Society Sydney Group at Kellyville Village (in front of Coles) between 8.30am and 4pm on the Saturday and 8.30am and 3pm on the Sunday.

It’s a great opportunity to talk to award-winning growers. There are hundreds of native orchids ain Australia and unlike imported varieties they are acclimatised to Australian conditions.

The exhibition will feature both terrestrial orchids and the large tree growing orchids.

There will also be a large selection of native orchids for sale on the day and experts on hand to give advice on orchid care and culture.
