Council Library Re-Open-last news

Residents have been asking “when do Libraries re-open?”.  They reopen as from today 1st June.  Castle Hill and Rouse Hill (Vinegar Hill) Libraries will re-open between 9.30am and 5pm.

To ensure appropriate social distancing, the number of people allowed in each of the libraries at any one time will be a maximum of 40, including staff.

Opening times at Castle Hill and Rouse Hill will be 9.30am to 5pm weekdays with extended opening until 7pm on Thursdays.  Click and Collect options are also available via the free app.

The Castle Hill Library and Vinegar Hill Library will only be open for Click and Collect pick-ups on Saturdays (9.30am to 1pm) and will be closed on Sundays.

At Hawkesbury Central Library staff will be offering a Click and Collect Service only to all library members during its reduce operating hours which start today, June 1, and will operate 9am-5pm on weekdays, Saturday 9am-1pm and Sunday 2-5pm.

Hawkesbury Library members can pre-order items online or over the phone on 4560 4460 during library opening hours and pick them up by appointment only. The library will contact the member to arrange a suitable time to collect.
