Pop-up to the Farm for a pop-up library

Hills Shire Libraries will be popping up at Bella Vista Farm this January.

A very special pop-up library will open especially for parents and children at the Farm on January 19 and January 20and will be located near Lil Miss Collins Café.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Councillor Yvonne Keane said children can experience the pleasure of books to read, storytelling and craft on both days between the hours of 10am till 1pm.

“I’m so excited to launch the Bella Vista Farm Pop-up Library for kids,” Mayor Keane said.

“Historic Bella Vista Farm and Lil Miss Collins Café provide the perfect backdrop for parents wanting to enjoy a coffee or a meal, while allowing their children to colour-in, delve into the literary world or explore the farm.

“Council is proud to activate this historic hidden gem, while providing a place where families and friends can come together and make memorable moments,” Mayor Keane added.

Thursday (10am to 1pm)
Mayor Keane will read to the children at 10am till 10.30am, followed by craft until 11am. The pop-up library will remain open until 1pm.

Friday (10am to 1pm)
There will be story times, craft and books to read until 1pm.
