Azita Abdollahian will be launching her book Breaking Free at a special Norwest Sunrise Rotary Club breakfast on Thursday, November 14.
Proceeds from the launch will support The Sanctuary – The Hills Women’s Shelter.
The book covers Azita’s journey from as a refugee in Australia after fleeing Iran in 1999 with her young children.
She talks about domestic abuse, loss and above all hope. From arriving as a refugee with no English she has run a business, trained as a counsellor and established her own Foundation to help homeless people.
