Hills Shire library members and residents gave generously to help those who needed it the most this

More than 1500 overdue books found their way back to past festive season.

Hills libraries during annual Library Fine amnesty.

The traditional Mayor’s Christmas Library Fine amnesty means late books can be returned without attracting a fine if a non-perishable food item is donated instead.

The amnesty resulted in more than 2000 non-perishable food items being donated.

The donations were delivered to Anglicare.
