BAZZ’s WHINE BAR-A Great Place to be

BAZZ WHINE BAR in Windsor, just a few metres from the old water wheel is one of Windsor’s hidden little secrets.

As you step inside the narrow 1840s Heritage-listed building decorated with antiques and trinkets you will sweep back the velvet curtains and be greeted warmly by owners Bazz and Lisa in their European style bar. The Australian couple met in the 1990s in Belgium and returned to Sydney sometime later.

Bazz (real name Robert) spent his former years in the Royal Australian Air Force and now works as a civilian at the Richmond Air Base.

Lisa, a teacher, travelled and taught internationally. She is now an executive staff member at a Sydney School and works with teachers and schools in the Asia Pacific in her spare time.

Bazz’s Wine Bar was established in 2017 and has been a bustling weekend nook ever since

“The bar isn’t a hobby, it’s a passion,” says Bazz with a big grin on his face, hiding behind his proud moustache.”

Bazz serves at the bar, delighting customers with his stories, jokes and icy frothed espresso martinis while Lisa makes homemade meatballs (her grandmother’s recipe) served with crusty bread and an array of cheese boards and nachos.

“We want people to feel like they are being served in our home. Our love for conversation, good food and wine is something we both delight in sharing with others.”

Bazz, Lisa and their children Bella and Ben look forward to welcoming you to their bar. You can book via Facebook Bazz’s Whine Bar and follow on Instagram bazzswhinebar.
