Costume Corner is a treasure trove of all things costume and fun. This extraordinary business has been a community favourite for the past 35 years when it was first established by award winning Australian costume designer, Judith Dorsman (Caddie, Picnic at Hanging Rock). Over this time, the business has firmly cemented its presence into the costume industry for its unbeatable range of authentic vintage and fancy dress costume pieces.

In 2010, Costume Corner was purchased by Hills Shire local, Kate O’Neill at the young age of 19. The business needed a lot of work, but Kate’s enthusiastic attitude and driven mind set allowed her to completely transform the tired business in to a modern, fresh and inviting place to visit. Kate has introduced a state of the art cataloguing system, barcoding each costume for immediate and accurate information to be obtained.

Along with this system, they recently introduced a website that allow customers from all over Australia to view, order and pay for their costumes with just a click of the button. Customers can select to have these items shipped directly to them or collect them in store. Costume Corner experiences year round trading through events such as Australia Day, Easter, Halloween, Book Week, Christmas and of course delivers outstanding service for parties, corporate events, weddings, advertising, fundraisers and the like. They also are heavily involved in supplying costumes, props and special effects make up items to local theatre companies and schools for their recurring productions.

Since Kate took over, it has evolved into a profitable business filled with diversity, excitement and lots of laughter.
