WINDSOR COUNTRY VILLAGE

Windsor Country Village will be throwing open its doors on Saturday, February 22 for a special open day and afternoon tea.

Residents, family and friends are keen to talk to people about why they like living in the boutique retirement community with its 5 acres of open gardens.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for those who are interested in what the Village has to offer to come along between 2pm and 5pm to have a chat and enjoy a complimentary afternoon tea.

WCV Director Kristen Edmonds said: “There is a great sense of pride at Windsor Country Village that comes from being such an integral part of the local community, and it is a place where you can relax knowing that you and your loved ones are part of a caring community. We are proud to provide the highest level of personal service and the experience that comes from being a family operated Retirement Village for over 30 years.”

She said residents were looking forward to the Open Day.

Windsor Country Village is located just over 5 minutes from the historic village of Windsor.

It offers affordable retirement living at its best.

“We recommend you come and experience the joy of living at Windsor Country Village for yourself,” she said.

“The community centre is the heart of the village and a space that hosts daily, weekly and annual events as well as providing a wide range of services.

“Here you will find lounges to relax in, our cosy fireplace, library, newspapers and more.”

Also located at the community centre are the offices for the on-site village manager and sales manager.

The Village has on-site parking, 24-hour emergency call system monitoring, regular garden and village maintenance, an active social committee and a range of licensed contractors who are experienced with servicing resident’s needs.

The village bus takes residents on daily shopping trips and social outings.

Windsor Country Village is at 7 Bandon Rd Vineyard and is a close walk to rail and road public transport and 10-minute drive from the new Metro North West Railway Station.

Barry Robinson said: “Being a new resident, I was immediately impressed by the warm and friendly welcome by the residents. The village management were so helpful during my transition into the village.”

Social events residents can get involved with include weekly games nights, trivia nights and regular bus outings.
