RED CROSS AGM

Generous donations during Red Cross Calling have made it a strong year for Castle Hill Red Cross branch which has now raised a total of over $1 million since it was formed 30 years ago.

Branch president Donna Fraser congratulated members at their AGM last week as did special guests Hornsby Mayor Phillip Ruddock and Hills Shire Councillor Frank de Masi.

She said the branch raised $20, 233.40 during the month of March for Red Cross Calling. Guest Speaker at the AGM held last Friday at Glenhaven was Red Cross Central Region Manager, Judy Harper.

There was also a presentation from Carol Harding on the work of The Sanctuary as well as the Hills DV Prevention Network.

Branch Member Keith Cole was presented with his Red Cross 10 Year Service Medal by Judy Harper.
