Preparing or updating your Will made easy

We’ve all had the thought at some stage – perhaps I should get around to preparing a Will. If you’ve experienced a significant life event such as getting married, divorce, a new baby, property purchase, loss of a loved one, receiving an inheritance or starting your working life it is particularly important to have your Will prepared or updated.

45% of Australians don’t hold a valid Will and we all should, to ensure that the people we love know our wishes and to make sure that our assets end up in the right hands upon our passing.

It is recommended that everyone over the age of 18 should have a Will. In New South Wales, each person needs their own Will, even though it may be very similar to that of your partner.

Wesley Mission, with the help of qualified lawyers who donate their time, have been helping people to prepare their Wills for more than 25 years.

We are hosting two Community Wills Days, one in Penrith on Thursday 29th August and one in Blacktown on Friday 20th September. On these days you can have a simple Will prepared or updated by an independent lawyer, for the low cost of $60.

Bookings are essential, so please visit wesleymission.org.au/wills or call (02) 9263 5548 to secure your place.
