Be our partner in the 2017 Sydney Hills Small Business Exchange

After two hugely successful events, the third annual Sydney Hills Small Business Exchange will be held on Wednesday 8 March, 2017 and Council is on the lookout for partners and supporters to help create a vibrant, action-packed event.

The exchange assists micro to small businesses to connect with a range of key government agencies and suppliers, all in one place on one day. Since its launch in 2015, the Small Business Exchange has attracted nearly 1,000 local businesses.

“Our economy relies on the small business sector and it’s important they have access to all the information they need to be successful, grow and create the jobs of the future,” said Mayor of the Hills Shire, Councillor Yvonne Keane.

“We’ve created a unique opportunity for businesses to learn everything they need to know in one location, as well as discover new opportunities. I can see this being one of the most popular events in the small business sector calendar next year,” Mayor Keane said.

“New at next year’s event will be a networking breakout area and information kiosk – plus loads of workshops that are completely free for attendees. The Small Business Exchange is a fantastic opportunity for partners, sponsors and for businesses looking to get more involved with the community,” she said.

Held in a new location for 2017, at Castle Grand, attendees can book 15-minute appointments with as many exhibitors as they would like, to discuss business opportunities.

“Council is now accepting Expressions of Interest from supporters and businesses who wish to be part of this fantastic exchange,” Mayor Keane said.

“I encourage those businesses wanting to connect with micro, small and medium sized businesses to get on board and seize this opportunity.”

Exhibitor Expressions of Interest close on Monday 5 December 2016 and successful applicants will be contacted by Friday 9 December, 2016.

The exhibitor selection process will ensure a well-balanced business solution offering is available for attendees.
