NEW LOOK AS GOVT LIFTS RESTRICTIONS

As playgrounds and parks reopen there are some new and improved items to enjoy. New equipment has been installed at Golden Grove Reserve in Kellyville, Hancey Farm Reserve in Castle Hill and at Macquarie Avenue Reserve in Kellyville. A mini basketball court has also been completed at Ambleside Drive Reserve in Castle Hill.

NSW Health recommends assuming that the previous users have the virus when using outdoor facilities and taking appropriate action.

Ensure group sizes are less than 10 people in one area [park or playground], at any one time and maintain a social distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and others.

Libraries are set to reopen on June 1st in accordance with public health regulations.

The return library book chutes are already operating between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays. Only one library will remain closed and that is Baulkham Hills Library which is undergoing renovation works. The upgrade includes a new roof, furniture, mobile shelving and a reading nook for children.
