MIND, DOGGY, SPIRIT FESTIVAL

Grab your dog and bring your best friend down to this year’s Positive Steps Towards Mental Health event at Castle Hill Showground on Sunday, September 29 from 11am to 3pm.

The four-hour Mind, Doggy, Spirit Festival is packed with a healthy amount of fun and promises to be full of fun and information for pets and their human friends.

The sixth annual festival is being held by the Positive Vibes Foundation in partnership with Mind Connections and the Hills Shire Orange Blossom Festival.

Star on the day will be the Coco mascot based on Festival founder, Dr Padmini Howpage own family dog.

The importance of dogs in their role of healing the spirit is well-documented. There will be a dog show during the day and agility demonstrations, wellness walks with dogs, healthy food stalls and kids’ entertainment.

Coco’s Shack will have pet workshops and demonstrations.

Faces of Mental Health is a program celebrating wellbeing rather than illness that has been put together by the Windsor Road Private Clinic in partnership with Positive Steps.
