Library to hold Evening Book Club

Book clubs are a great way to meet up with old friends, make new ones and of course, discuss books.

The Hawkesbury Library Service will be launching a new evening book club, Book Chat, on Tuesday 15 March, from 6.30pm to 8pm.

The new book club will meet on the third Tuesday of the month to discuss contemporary fiction, classic literature, biographies and much more, in a relaxed social setting. Interested members are warmly welcomed to participate in this new book club.

The Mayor of Hawkesbury, Councillor Kim Ford, encourages the Hawkesbury community to get involved and said “this is a great opportunity to create new friendships and share ideas with likeminded people.”

Library membership is free, and there are hundreds of thousands of books and e books in the Library’s collection to choose from. Members can borrow up to 15 items for 3 weeks, so if you’re not a member yet, now is a great time to join.

The Book Chat will meet in the Rozzoli Room, Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Don’t forget to pop into the Library and choose a book to read and discuss at the next Book Chat.
