Indian Cultural Association massive Kite Flying Festival at the Castle Hill
Congratulations to Kaushal Parikh, Jay Trivedi and the Indian Cultural Association on holding an absolutely massive Kite Flying Festival.
“This was the largest event at the Castle Hill Showground I have ever seen, with thousands of people packing out the main arena.” Dr Peter Gangemi said
It was magnificent to see Hills locals and people from afar flying their kites, enjoying the entertainment and stalls and connecting with friends.
The event coincided with a number of Indian festivals that celebrate the arrival of Spring and the harvest including Makar Sankranti, Lohri and Pongal.
Dr Peter Gangemi said he looks forward to seeing the event even bigger and better next year.
