Happy New Year

FROM THE HILLS TO HAWKESBURY COMMUNITY NEWS TEAM

We hope everyone managed to have some sort of Christmas and New Year celebration with family and friends, albeit reduced in size. What peculiar times we live in.

Our first edition this year features the new beginnings of life at Norwest Private Maternity we congratulate all our new extended families in 2021 and wonder what the world will be like in 30 years times. It was certainly different when we started our magazine 37 years ago. The original Hills TV Guide was a black and white publication produced by the Stettler family. Ivor worked for Ron Steller in those early days, so he has a great history with us. With the loss of other local printed papers such as the Hills Shire Times, we are working hard to fill the gap in local news. To that end we welcome Lawrence Machado to our editorial team. Lawrence was a former journalist at the Rouse Hill Times. We also say a sad Goodbye to Rania Salloum, one of our sales team. She is moving to an exciting new Sales role in a larger company. We wish her well.

If you know of any great local groups that need help promoting, or you know of any great local stories, please contact us. We are here to help inform, connect and engage with our local community.
