Get a Competitive Advantage

“Change is coming – are you on track?”

That is the topic Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne will discuss when she opens The Hills Community Conference on October 18.

The annual one-day event aims to help organisations and services prepare for a changing environment, while providing opportunities to network with other community minded groups in The Sydney Hills.

The conference will equip attendees with the tools and resources to help their teams create a plan to meet their current and future goals. This is a rare opportunity for local services and organisations to come together and discuss the challenges that will arise from a population increase and the opportunities that will be created as our new transport routes become available to the community.

The Hills Communities Conference will be held at the Novotel Norwest, between 8.30am to 4pm.

Keynote speakers on the day will include regarded social commentator Bernard Salt, Director of the Centre for Social Leadership Dr Paul Porteous, Executive officer of Local Community Services Association Can Yasmut and many more.

The conference costs $35 per person.
