Gardening in the Hawkesbury

Do you have a problem plant, or one you would like to identify? Bring it along to a free ‘Ask-an- Expert’ session presented by Macquarie Towns Garden Club and Hawkesbury Library Service on Thursday, 6 April 2pm to 4pm. Experts will answer gardening questions, share their knowledge and give a hands-on plant propagation demonstration.

Hawkesbury Library Service has also invited Hawkesbury River County Council (HRCC) to come along to talk about weed identification and weed management strategies in the Hawkesbury. HRCC will have expert staff on hand for any questions and an educational live weed display.

As part of the event, there will be free plant giveaways as well as garden goodies and plants for sale. Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshop will be held in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor. Bookings not required. Please call the Library on 4560 4460 for more information.
