Free Australian movie – Lonely Hearts

Hawkesbury Central Library, Windsor will screen the Australian film, Lonely Hearts (1982), on Thursday, 9 February at 10am and again at 6pm, courtesy of the National Film & Sound Archive.

In this offbeat comedy, directed by Paul Cox, an unlikely romance develops between a flamboyant, middle-aged piano tuner and an extremely timid bank clerk.

The movie will be shown in the Tebbutt Room, Hawkesbury Central Library, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street, Windsor. Refreshments will be available before the screenings and everyone is welcome to bring along snacks and drinks.

The movie runs for 95 minutes and has a classified rating of M. M classified films may include classifiable elements such as violence and nudity of moderate impact that are not recommended for children under 15 years. Suitability for viewing is at the discretion of the parent/carer. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free Movies @ Your Library events are held on the second Thursday of the month, except January.
