Chef Alessandro Benini who hails from Livorno in Toscana Italy, a region renowned for its wine and food, has taken the helm at Woodfire pizza the new Italian eatery, La Stella, at the Bella Vista Hotel.

Alessandro grew up cooking with his Nonna and Mamma which made him realise his passion for Italian cuisine and the magic art of pizza making. After learning from the best in Napoli, Alessandro travelled to Australia to find a place he could share his passion and give people an authentic Italian experience.
