Creative students display OBF colours

Mayor of the Hills Shire, Clr Yvonne Keane, has selected the finalists of the Orange Blossom Festival Schools Competition from hundreds of colourful entries.

The competition offers children from preschool through to year six the chance to win prizes and have their artwork displayed at the 2016 Orange Blossom Festival.

“It was an incredibly tough task to select finalists from such an amazing array of creativity,” Mayor Keane said.

“Congratulations to all of our wonderful entrants – every one of you is a winner in my eyes,” she said.

Three competition categories for children in preschool, kindergarten to year three and years four to six are now on display at The Hills Shire Council.

Finalists will be displayed at the Orange Blossom Festival throughout the weekend of Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September, with the winning entries announced from the Community Stage at 2pm on Saturday.
