Charlotte Gray – Free Australian movie

Screened in association with the National Film and Sound Archive, two sessions will be
held on Thursday 28 April, at 10am and again at 6pm.

The 2001 drama, starring Cate Blanchett, was directed by Gillian Armstrong, who also directed My Brilliant Career. Set in Vichy France during World War II, a Scottish woman joins the French Resistance to rescue her Royal Air Force boyfriend who is lost in France.

The movie will be shown in the Tebbutt Room, Deerubbin Centre, 300 George Street Windsor and runs for 117 minutes. Refreshments will be available before the screenings and everyone is wCharlotte Gray, an adaption of the novel written by Sebastian Faulks, is the next free movie to be shown at Hawkesbury Library. elcome to bring along snacks and drinks to enjoy during the film.
