Box Hill to get New Sports Complex and Park

The Hills Shire Council is investing $14.69 million to develop a new sports complex and park in Box Hill.

The Water Lane Reserve sports complex will feature two natural turf fields, a children’s playground, pathways, a car park, and an amenities block.

The Rainforest Street Reserve will feature a skate bowl, mountain bike trails, a large playground, and inclusive play equipment.

Construction of the Water Lane Reserve is expected to start soon. The Rainforest Street Reserve master plan has been adopted and the Council is working to secure funding for the detailed design process.
