Glenhaven Road, Blue Gum Road and Barclay Road will soon see safety upgrades following a successful grant application by The Hills Shire Council from the Australian Government’s ‘BlackSpot Program’.

Glenhaven Road in Glenhaven will receive $380,000 for the installation of guideposts, lighting, signage, roadside barriers, curve alignment markers and an audio and tactile centreline over two locations.

Blue Gum Road in Kenthurst will receive $220,000 for the installation of vehicle-activated signs, guideposts, roadside barriers, and curve alignment markers.

The intersection of Barclay Road and Mill Drive in North Rocks will receive $75,000, with the current ‘Give Way’ signage on Mill Drive being replaced by a channelised right turn installation on Barclay Road.

Increasing safety on roads is a priority to Council so we are very pleased to deliver these vital safety measures for the community in the near future.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][us_image image=”69595″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
