BELLA VISTA FARM BOOK

A 54-page book called Bella Vista Farm Its Past and Its people has been produced by The Friends of Bella Vista Farm.

Mark Pearce whose family owned the owned Bella Vista Farm between 1842 and 1950 has written the book with fellow Friends of Bella Vista Farm volunteers, Carolyn Gould and Sharon Rawstron.

The book took two years to compile and research and aims to give people an accurate picture of the farm which was owned in its early days by Elizabeth Macarthur.

Meticulous research has culminated it a fascinating read providing an excellent narrative of the past lives which touched the land.

Bella Vista Farm contains previously unknown information and photographs from the Pearce family collection.

The book is being sold for $20 by The Friends of Bella Vista Farm. It will be available for sale on Australia Day at Bella Vista Farm and at the Bella Vista Farm’s Open Day on Sunday, February 2.
