ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR

If you are looking for some early Christmas presents or some new plants then pop along to The Gracewood at Kellyville on Saturday, November 9 between 10am and 4pm.

A huge group of residents has been working together to create The Gracewood’s first Art and Craft Exhibition and Fair which will be taking up three levels of the Over 55s complex.

As well as an exhibition of quilts and art there will be a huge amount of handmade items for sale including wooden toys, cards, baby clothes, children’s smocked items, Christmas crafts, candles, jewellery and jams.

On level One there will also be a cake stall, sausage sizzle and a cafe serving Devonshire teas.

The ground level plant stall will feature an array of plants including succulents, annuals and shrubs with more than 250 to choose from.

Bev McPherson from the organising committee said approximately 50 residents had been involved.

“This is our first, but if all goes well we hope to make it a bi-annual event. It has certainly brought the majority of residents together.

The exhibition and fair opens at 10am on Saturday, November 9 at The Gracewood, 8 Free Settlers Drive, Kellyville. Visitors are welcome but sales will be cash only on the day.
