Guided Wildlife Walk and Bushcare

Wildlife Walk And Bushcare

Have a guided wildlife walk at Stevenson Creek in Baulkham Hills on Sunday, 5 November 2023.

Starting at 9:00 AM, the attendees can expect a guided walk and an informative session about habitat and bushland conservation led by a local Stevenson Creek Reserve Bushcare group. A catered barbeque will be provided at the end of the walk.

“On this guided walk and Bushcare session, we will retrace his steps. One of the highlights is a sandstone overhang where evidence of Aboriginal occupation has been discovered,” the announcement indicated.

Due to the one-kilometre walk, the organisers recommend interested people are of high to moderate fitness. This is due to the “rugged and steep in places and includes two creek crossings” that the people will encounter.

Attendees are advised to wear a hat, long pants, and enclosed shoes and bring sunscreen and drinking water. The meeting place is at approximately 29 Cook Street, while parking is available at either Carrabai Place or Willow Drive

The session is free of charge. Reservations can be made online via Eventbrite here: Wildlife Walk and Bushcare.

The Stevenson Creek is located at Cook Street in Baulkham Hills, NSW, 2153.
