Labour Day, is a public holiday to recognise and celebrate the hard fought rights that workers and the union movement have achieved over many decades.
From the 8 hour work day, to sick leave, annual leave, penalty rates and even job keeper.
Of course, it’s not a holiday for everyone, so if you’re one of the many people working today in our emergency services, health and aged care, retail or hospitality – thank you.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][us_image image=”69999″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
