Sgt. E. C. Cowley

Sgt. E. C. Cowley was Born in Qld, but his parents owned Lorne (later known as Yareenumba) next to Willows Retirement Village 1915-1917 when he was away on Gallipoli and Palestine.

He served in the 2nd Light Horse. The house stood on the original Model Farms grant of William Gooden and later housed the Shepherds, Edward Charles Noakes and Webster’s Vet supplies
