The Bromeliads Spring Show

It will be held at the Federation Pavilion, Castle Hill Showground on Saturday, 24 Sept between 9-4pm and Sunday, 25 Sept between 10-3pm.

Rare and exquisite bromeliads from collectors, local and interstate growers will be on display and for sale to the public including Elizabeth Mudriczki from the Blacktown area who has won many prizes with her immaculate Quesnelia Tim Plowmans. Victorian Tillandsia expert Chris Larsen with many of his rare and unusual plants.

Glenorie’s respected grower Allan Beard, Jan and Jon Townsend, from Bonville near Coffs Harbour and Angela and Gary well known for their bromeliads at the annual Collector’s Plant Fair. “Stocks are plentiful due the past COVID lockdowns, so if you’re a bromeliad enthusiast or just looking for plants that are colourful, drought tolerant and very low maintenance don’t miss this opportunity, as there is something for everyone at our show.” said Ian Hook, President, BSA.

There will be a display of the Bromeliad competition winners, 20 plant sale tables that are continually restocked, books, pots, information and free advice available from experienced growers.

There is plenty of parking on site, admission is free to the show and please bring a box for your purchases.
