Tech Savvy Seniors – June classes

Do you have difficulty using computers and other technology? Are smart devices an enigma to you? If so, then come along to any of the free ‘Tech Savvy Seniors’ introductory workshops being offered by Hawkesbury Library Service in June.

You will be introduced to the use of computers, gain confidence and skills in using the internet, and smart devices such as tablets and phones.

• Beginners Computer Class Monday, 4 June 10:00 AM–midday

• Introduction to the Internet Monday, 4 June 2:00 PM–4:00 PM

• Introduction to using Tablets Monday, 18 June 10:00 AM–midday OR 2:00 PM–4:00 PM note: The morning session will be repeated in the afternoon.

• Introduction to using Smart Phones Monday, 25 June 10:00 AM–midday OR 2:00 PM–4:00 PM note: The morning session will be repeated in the afternoon.

The free workshops are available to Library members. If you are not a member, you can become a member free of charge at the library. For device workshops, participants will need to bring along their own tablet or smartphone. Bookings are essential on 4560 4460.

All sessions will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor.

Tech Savvy Seniors is an initiative of the NSW Ageing Strategy and is funded through a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, and with the assistance and participation of the Hawkesbury Library Service.
