Si Hornsby’s Spring Fling: A Fundraising Event for the Community

Members of SI Hornsby held another very successful fundraiser for the local women’s refuge in September. Raffle tickets were sold to raise funds as well as members holding afternoon teas for friends to come along to in their own homes.

$7000 was raised for the Hornsby and Kur-ring-gai Women’s refuge which helps victims of domestic violence.

Soroptimist International is an international organisation for women working through service projects to raise the status of women, advance human rights for all and promote equality, development, and peace.
