Rouse Hill Billy Cart Derby

The Rouse Hill Town Centre revs into action on Sunday April 28 and you are all invited to take part.

It’s the seventh year that the popular Rouse Hill Billy Cart Derby has been held and each year it attracts around 145 teams.

The event is organised by the Rouse Hill Community Baptist Church in partnership with Rouse Hill Town Centre and the Bring A Mate charity.

Organiser Kerrie Sheaves said that while some teams make their own Billy Carts before the event, most turn up on the day.

“We have the local mens’ sheds making billy carts so people can come on the day and for $5 hire helmets, gloves and cart.

“It’s about getting people out and participating.”

As well as the Billy Cart Derby, there is a family festival, with stalls and entertainment.
