No Waste Kitchen

How much waste is generated in your kitchen? As part of a continuing series of War on Waste workshops, Hawkesbury City Council is pleased to announce that Hawkesbury Library Service will present a ‘No Waste Kitchen’ workshop at Hawkesbury Central Library on Thursday, 23 October from 10am to midday.

In this free workshop you will gain knowledge on how to reduce the amount of waste coming from your kitchen. The presenter will cover how to do chemical and package free cleaning in the kitchen including the oven, floors, and kitchen benches. You will also learn alternatives to plastic wrap that will still allow you to keep food fresh.

The free workshop will be held at Hawkesbury Central Library, 300 George Street, Windsor. Bookings are essential through Eventbrite at www.hawkesburylibrary.eventbrite.com or call 4560 4460.
