5 School Holiday Events at the Hawkesbury Central Library

Children can spend their time at the Hawkesbury Central Library during the school holidays starting 26 September 2023.

A total of five activities are available starting late September, ranging from a drama workshop and making cards to watching movies. These include:

1.) GIANT GAMES      

Monday, 25 September to Sunday, 8 October – All are free to attend.

Drop in during library opening hours to play different giant games, such as chess, snakes and ladders, and connect.

 

2.) DRAMA WORKSHOP

Tuesday, 26 September, 10 AM to 11 AM. The session is suitable for ages 5-12 years. Tickets cost $5. Slots can be booked via Eventbrite here: DRAMA WORKSHOP.

Stacey from Take A Bow introduces fun and engaging drama activities to build confidence, focus, and creativity.

 

3.) RECYCLED CREATIONS – Cardboard City

Wednesday, 27 September, 2 PM to 4 PM. The session is suitable for ages five and up. Tickets cost $2. Slots can be booked via Eventbrite here: RECYCLED CREATIONS – CARDBOARD CITY.

Help create a city made of cardboard and paper with a range of recycled materials.

 

4.) FOLDED CARDS

Folded Cards At The Hawkesbury Central Library

Thursday, 5 October, 2 PM to 3:30 PM. The session is suitable for ages ten and up. Tickets cost $5. Slots can be booked via Eventbrite here: FOLDED CARDS.

Learn how to fold cardstock to create a never-ending infinity card and decorative chatterbox.

 

5.) HOLIDAY MOVIES

Friday, 29 September and Friday, 6 October, both sessions start at 2:00 PM and end at 3:30 PM.

It is free of charge, but bookings are essential via Eventbrite here: 

29 September – MOVIE TIME

6 October – MOVIE TIME.

 

Relax and watch a new release DVD. Bring your own snacks and drinks. For details, check Eventbrite or call the Library.

It is advised that an adult must accompany children below ten years old.
