Hills United Women Want Their Goal-scoring Mojo Back
Hills United FC women’s high scoring streak has dried up as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Mt Druitt Rangers in their FNSW League One Women’s clash.
In a clash between two of the best teams in the competition, the Hills scored in the 72nd minute through Kylie Shannon to share the spoils at Bella Vista Public School.
A shock 3-2 defeat to lower-placed Sutherland Strikers in their previous game , followed by last weekend’s draw, has seen them slip from their top perch to third. Ther plus point is that the Hills women still boast of the toughest defence in the league.
This Sunday, June 30, they face Central Coast Mariners needing a win to reignite their leadership hopes.
