Hills United Men Look For Revival
Hills United FC slumped to another defeat in their NPL Men’s competition, going down 0-2 to Wollongong Wolves at the weekend.
The Hills outfit, who lie 14th in the ladder, were unable to breach the defence, despite going close at times.
Australian futsal star Wade Giovenali had a great opportunity to pull one back in the 85th minute but he struck his shot left of the target after a through ball from fellow substitute Jamal Belkadi. The Hills goalie Ryan Wood prevented the scoreline from increasing with some fine saves.
This weekend, Hills United face Rockdale Llinden in their 22nd round match. The NPL debutants have won just one match from their last five but could end the streak this weekend.
The Wolves led 1-0 at the interval.
