Hills Music Academy

Both bands of the Hills Music Academy surged back to full strength at the recent NSW State Band Championships, taking out the titles with The Senior Band earning 1st Place in Open B Grade Concert Bands, and The Concert Band earning 1st Place in Open D Grade Concert Bands.

The past few years have been tough for everyone, with very few or zero performance opportunities.

The NSW State Band Championships were held at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith on Saturday 27 August. Mr Gary Clark, the Music Director of both Bands accepted the trophies from each event.
