This year, Australia Day in the Hawkesbury is going to be epic!
Council Australia Day Awards – given to outstanding locals for exemplary community service.
Council Australia Day Citizenship Ceremony with Special Guest, the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), who is His Majesty The King’s representative.

Australia Day on the Hawkesbury: Annual event at Governor Phillip Park, hosted by Hawkesbury City Council from 5pm – 9pm, with FREE FIREWORKS 
food trucks, entertainment and activities. RAAF Richmond will also be conducting a flyover 
and you can even bring your dog along (on a lead) 
Come on down as throughout the evening, I will be judging the best Aussie dress-up outfit AND the classic Thong Throwing Competition, along with our MC Farmer Dave, founder of the amazing youth program RuffTRACK.“I cannot wait to celebrate with everyone on 26 January! “Sarah McMahon said
