Entries for the annual Hawkesbury Garden Competition are open! A simple and convenient online entry form is available at www. hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au Entries close on Friday, 25 August 2017.
Entrants can select one of the seven categories to enter this year’s competition, with all entrants going in the running for Grand Champion Garden and Best Regional Garden.
Entry forms, including full conditions of entry can be found at www.hawkesbury.nsw.gov.au Simply click on the garden competition icon at the bottom of Council’s website homepage.
Judging will take place on Friday, 15 September, Saturday, 16 September and Sunday, 17 September 2017.
Entrants will be notified of the schedule of judging closer to the date. Winners will be announced at a special ceremony to be held on Wednesday, 18 October 2017, 7pm at Windsor RSL, 36 Argyle Street, Windsor.

CATTAI CREEK

Knightsbridge Shops to Fred Caterson, Reserve
The Hills District has many significant wildlife corridors. This walk will explore the corridor which follows the valley of Cattai Creek and the Knightsbridge ridge. See the difference in vegetation between the valleys and the ridges and enjoy the Spring wildflowers. This walk is longer than most walks in this program (5 km) but the grades are easy.
