We know many of our jobs of the future will require skills in STEM

We also know that women are far less likely to pursue careers in this field.

One way the government is trying to make a difference is through the Curious Minds mentoring program.

It helps develop and ignite girls’ interest in STEM through
– a four-day online summer school
– a six-month hands
-on mentoring program from women working in the STEM industry; and
– an in-person winter camp in July 2023.

Applications are open to girls in years 9 and 10 for the 2022-23 intake.
